Observation details
Ppreviously described continuing rare bird intermittently present on “stint island”. Observed/photographed by all from relatively close range of dike/road nearby. In Basic gray plumage, seemingly not as pale as Western sandpiper, but without nearby comparison available. Split supercillium look above and behind eyes observed. Clearly different overall look than single Least sandpiper present, enabling comparison views of GISS, dark legs, lack of warm brown plumage tones on presumptive C. minuta. Photos
