Observation details
Observed the bird right at the vegetation edge where the river comes into the bay. Bird was blue-gray in appearance with gray crest. White breast with blue band and maroon color along sides. White patches observed on wings in flight. Did not call. Tried to get closer for better picture, but was unable to relocate the bird when I came around to the other side of the bay.
