Observation details
Found and first reported by Dave Tucker about 45 minutes earlier. Large plover with white head except for black crown, face stripes, and throat. Mantle was brownish but wings had a bit of a metallic green sheen. Most notable, perhaps, were several longer plumes that pointed up at the crown of the head. A handsome stranger!
