Observation details
Continuing bird at this location. Noticed the birds feeding along the edge of the tall grass patch by the end of Center Rd. (In the nearest and widest section to the "left" from the end of the pavement). Small finch with chestnut brown coloration on the upper parts. Dark, scaled feathers mark the otherwise light-colored underparts. Heavy, dark, finch-like bill. Observed and photographed while feeding on the seeds of the tall grass. Heard no vocalizations.
