NOTES: (Behav. Context: Annoyance. General Climate: Cyclic wet-dry. Cov. Density: Thick.) Area right next to the site of the first male Cocha Antshrike, a small grassy area (grass 1.5 m. tall). The wren worked its way around the perimeter, singing as it did. The bird seemed to prefer singing 1-2 m. from inside dense tangles or lower branches of trees. This time the bird was definitely responding to inadvertent playback of its own song. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Evergreen Forest, Creek, Riparian.
