NOTES: (Species Sound: constant; Breeding Status: not territorial, breeding?; Strata in Habitat: song perch; General Climate: arid; Cover Density: medium; Filtering: yes - Nagra at 4) Copied at LNS onto AGFA PEM468, then edited by RSL. BNA: The male song is heard, with possible elements of mimicry (possibly robin). CZ 20/07/2004. [Three songs, the latter two of which appear to incorporate imitations of the "gurgle" call of parus gambeli. I do not hear any imitations of Turdus migratorius here, but this species is calling in the background [??] Quality changed from 1-2 to 2-1 (though approaching 1-2)- 4 February 2005]. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Forest, Evergreen Forest, Coniferous Forest, Second-growth.
