NOTES: Range status: NORMAL; Breeding status: NON BREEDING; Frequency of sound: LOW; General climate: HUMID; Cover density: OPEN; ADULT(S); Sex: UNKNOWN [I believe these are "Flight Calls" given by birds on the wintering grounds (following teminology of BNA account). Note that this taxon is now recognized as Pluvialis fulva. Quality changed from 2 to 2-1, 2-3 (the first two calls are overloaded and the calls in the latter part are mixed in with those of Himantopus, but some of those in the middle are good) - CAM - 23 February 2005]. Other Behaviors: Depart. Habitat: Grassland, Wetland, Freshwater, Mudflat, River, Riparian, Pond, Active Agricultural.
