Observation details
Bird was noticed as it was mobbed by several Black Kites. First noticed at 15:58 hour. It had brown/buff head, underparts had whites. Comparing the size with Black Kite it should be a lesser Frigatebird. Flew towards south direction (may be little west) around at 16:02 hours. Photographs are attached. Note from Raju Kasambe in Facebook Ask ID group: Lesser Frigatebird juvenile to me. Thanks for the Black Kite perspective. If the length of Black Kite is considered as 61cm in the image, the length of the Frigatebird comes out to be 76cm. That's exactly what the books say about Lesser Frigatebird. The other two Frigatebirds are far larger at 93 and 95cms. Great sighting!
