NOTES: dawn +1.5hrs; species cut number 6 BNA: Probably the "Call Note" ("Pit Call") and "Double Call" (Pitit Call") are heard. Some tapping can also be heard in the background. CZ 26/02/2004. [This recording begins with two series of Double Calls tending towards Rattle Calls (0:07-0:11, 0:37-0:41), these followed by two series combining two Double Calls followed by a Rattle Call (0:578-1:01, 1:27-1:30), and ending with a single "pik" Call (1:38) and five Double Calls (1:45, 1:46, 1:52, 2:00, 2:02, the latter two apparently after the bird moved off). Quality changed from 1 to 1-2 - CAM - 19 April 2005]. Habitat: Evergreen Forest, Coniferous Forest, Deciduous Forest, Canyon, Rocky.
