NOTES: BEHAVIOR CONTEXT: annoyance. BREEDING STATUS: not territorial NOTES ON DATA FORM: bird approached soon after recorded W. Screech Owl tape was played (3.5m), but did not call. bird moved out of sight and began giving calls that were recorded. ML Notes: I am not really sure what the calls heard are referred to in the BNA, but they are possibly the Te-Te-Do call, being that it's a response to playback. A couple of times, the bouncing ball call is also heard. CZ 05/01/2004. Response to playback: Approach. Response to playback: Normal song. Habitat: Deciduous Forest, Creek, Riparian, Pasture.
