Observation details
Based on a tip from Donald Webster, a DNR employee, that there was a Yellow Rail, at farm field outside of Cambridge, MD. I travelled with Donald to the field he was to mow. I went with Donald, placed myself with the light behind me, and Donald preceded to mow the field. The first bird to fly was a Virginia Rail. Shortly afterwards a Yellow Rail bolted from the tractor. Images were taken. The MDDC records committee accepted the record based on the images. MD/2009-097.
