Observation details
Hot damn - lifer! Smaller, all brown Shearwater floating at the end of the north jetty just after a quick storm passed through. The bird was soaked and exhausted, floating all the way into the intracoastal and eventually out of sight around a corner. Nice spot by Carl Griffin and quick ID by Richard Crossley! I’m starting to think Carl Edwards might just be bringing these birds with him- as the storm came through he said “maybe it’ll blow a Sooty into the inlet...”. Ridiculous. Photos.
