Observation details
First winter bird. First seen by my daughter and I. I noticed it was sitting high in the water and obtained some photos. Later went and got scope, noted high on water posture, double peaked crown with high point over eye and steep forehead. Dusky neck with some white on cheeks and upper neck. Bill longer and more sharp pointed than Horned.
