Observation details
First seen as she flew down from the (apparent) nest tree, I followed her as she worked south along a row of white stakes, then again as she flew east across the parking lot. She then started working her way north, and I left her as she flew over the boat launch. I was able to take many photos. I only heard her call once, a typically Flicker-like call, indistinguishable to my ear from that of a Red-shafted Flicker.
