Observation details
Beautiful golden, candy yellow warbler, black doll eyed look, white undertail coverts, black tail tip, dark blueish wings. Frustratingly hard to see as it sang lots, but from 30+ feet up in the trees. Certainly the highest singing one of its kind that I have seen. Mark Chao and I invested a long time trying to nail down a visual. Great find by Tom Schulenberg. All the time on Wilson Trail North past Sherwood platform around the corner by the Charlie Harper bench. Bird was usually on the south side of the trail, but it did move to the pond area trees too.
