NOTES: (Breeding stat: ?territorial, ?breeding; Sound: ?call; Gen. Climate: arid; Cover den: sparse) BNA: Song "chee-lick" or "chee-lick chou". What I hear sounds like "chee-lick" followed by 2 trills; voc sounds like "chee-lee" with emphasis on second syllable. Another set of vocs sounds like "chee-lick quit-quit-quir". Possible Alarm Note? mf [This appears to represent three song-like phrases, described in BNA as "chee-lick chou," with the first phrase ending in a trilled "chou" element, and the last in a repeated series of trilled elements. Quality unchanged (2) - CAM - 7 September 2005]. Habitat: Forest, Coniferous Forest, Montane Grassland.
