NOTES: suset -2.67hrs; species cut number 1; small stream in background BNA: Probably the "Call Note" (sometimes referred to as "Double Call") is heard. It is often written as "peek-it" or "pitit" and often is trisyllabic as "pee-de-dink" or "chick-it-up." CZ 24/02/2004. [Twenty-six examples of the Double Call of BNA (18 calls with three notes and eight with two). There are also seven examples of calls with four notes and one with five notes (0:455), both of which may represent Short Rattles, and two soft Drums (0:29 1:225). Despite the voice announcement, it appears to me that all of these calls were given by the same bird. Quality changed from 2; 1-2 to 2, 2-1 - CAM - 20 April 2005]. Other Behaviors: Bill Drumming, Advertise. Habitat: Coniferous Forest, Montane Grassland, Stream.
