Observation details
Got on one black swift in the scope at exactly 750 am it was flying below the horizon and was a swivel winged swift/swallow the way it flew automatically ruled out any swallow. Slow glides. I continued to watch and noted the very long wings that pointed back in a boomerang shape. As it flew up valley I just got better and better looks at the bird until I could note minor details on the face of the bird. I could even see the very miniscule beak. Eventually it was followed by four more black swifts. These birds never circled they were on a beeline north without stopping (migrant like behavior). I even got some very distant photos which will be used to support the id. Seen from here (38.7594420, -122.7592014).
