NOTES: "Keek; Identification not certain but thought to be a coot (might be a rail?)" (LG) [LNS 43005 is not on Gunn Reel 1/11 LNS#43000 - 43009. mf] [This does not appear to represent any described call of Fulica americana and it is not a call with which I am familiar (from this species or any other). Based on the sound, it could be this species, but I would not put a great deal of confidence in its present identification (Porzana carolina would be another possibility). Quality added (2) - CAM - 4 March 2005].
