NOTES: (Cover Density: Thick. Copy recorder: ATR-100.) First the bird is perched on top of a 10 ft. tall bush in an overgrown pasture, 70 meters NW from the intersection of Rothermich and Enfield Center roads. It is giving its familiar "weet" calls then flies upward 15-20 ft. above the bush giving a variety of song-like "fitz-bews" in a tumbling, rolling, ecstatic flight. Sennheiser Zepplin windscreen used; BP-2 in flat. BNA: "Whit" call; Flight song. mf LNS note: ZSYS lo shelf filter @200hz/-95db. mf. Other Behaviors: Perform Visual Display. Habitat: Thicket/Brush, Second-growth, Scrub.
