"I questioned the identity because I inadvertently erased the talk part. I did record acutirostris on 8 May. Previous tape from this area I identified as Calandrella brachydactyla, but I now believe that acutirostris is the common breeder here. All the birds I saw in '82 were acutirostris, which I've only recently learned to distinguish in the field". Habitat: Montane, Stream, Desert, Thicket/Brush.
