Media notes

Vocalizations made by a female named Furious after artificial insemination. BNA: It is unclear to me which calls these represent. The calls at the beginning of the recording (0:05-0:40) appear to fit the description of the "Rattle-Chitter" described by Ellis (1979. Development of behavior in the Golden Eagle. Wildl. Monogr. 709:1-94) and summarized by BNA. I am less certain about the calls given later in the recording (e.g., 3:06-3:11); I suppose they could represent either the "Skonk" or the "Honk" of Ellis, or something altogether different.
