Media notes

Calls given by Grendell II. Recorded in a barn at James Grier's home. BNA: As far as I can determine, the calls here represent primarily the "Wonk" described by Ellis (1979. Development of behavior in the Golden Eagle. Wildl. Monogr. 709:1-94), which was summarized by BNA, but also with examples of what appears to be the "Wip" Call (0:11, 0:38, 1:03, 1:08 [?], 1:15, 1:42, 1:43, 1:48, 1:50 [?], 2:49, 3:17, 3:30 [?], 3:32 [?], 3:39, and 4:02). Some examples of the latter are difficult to differentiate from the former, however, these above followed by "[?]". Quality changed from 2-1 to 1-2 (some tape hiss but otherwise good) - CAM - 23 March 2005].
