Observation details
Cruising along with a flock of CANG, near shoreline, heading towards 14 St. Bridge (North). One of them was very vocal and recorded a couple of times — it produced a higher pitch call than the CANGs. The two pretty much swam as a tight pair amongst the CANGs. They both had a bit of a white ring below the base of their black necks. One of the attached photos (the one with all the geese facing to the right), shows the CACG paired up in the upper left. Just below them is an odd looking "CANG". It has a very skinny white cheek patch and a bill that is stubby looking. I didn't notice this one till reviewing my pictures but I wonder if that one is a hybrid as it appears to be a bigger size than the CACGs?
