Media notes
Two recordings of same bird, 5 minutes apart. Natural intervals preserved within the clips. Clip 1: Two whistled songs followed by falling trills at 43s and 1:10. Clip 2: four trills.
Observation details
Mostly heard only, but had a very brief glimpse of the bird in flight which was the right size for this species. Possibly two individuals, or else the same bird moved around and sang from different spots. Recording made of two different song types: a sequence of 5-6 descending whistles, and a long, slightly falling trill. Checked against a recording I made on 3rd July this year near the new Kampot port when I could see the singer for positive identification of a male LBC - a perfect match for the first type of song. Confirmed the trill as LBC on xeno-canto.
