Cover density: OPEN; LOW CLUCKING BY FEMALE. TYPICAL EIDER SOUND BY MALE. [Many other captive birds are also included here. Most of this is "cooing" by the male but there is also "quacking" by the female (in addition to that of Anas platyrhynchos or a similar-sounding species). I believe the stretch between 1:26 and 1:52 is dominated by this species (both males and females calling), something that cannot be said of other parts in the recording. (CAM - 18 March 2005).
