Observation details
At least 10,000 ducks were seen offshore floating on the water. At one point the birds flushed, likely from a raptor, and the skies were filled with ducks. The 4 pictures below, which create a panoramic view, shows the enormous number of ducks in the air while some were still floating on the water. The ducks were likely Lesser Scaup, Ring-necked Duck and Coot among others. I wish they were closer so I could identify them!
