Media notes
NOTES: The researcher I was with, studying Vervet monkeys, stated that this is the 'leopard' alarm call. The monkey was giving this call prior to our approach (three humans). It may not have been in response to our presence. The monkey was feeding in the outer branches of the lower portion of the tree crown. The map position given for this recording is a general position for Amboseli and not a specific location. The specific recording location within the park is not known. Other Behaviors: Emit Alarm. Habitat: Forest.
