Observation details
Heard by the others and thought to have the coarser rattling seee notes typical of this species. This bird flew overhead at the ballfield and appeared to be larger than Cedar and overall darker (grayer?). Body size seemed to sync with call as Bohemian, but I (LRB) could not hear the vocalization. Late in the day when back at the Hitchcox house, both Fyn and Josh clearly heard Bohemian Waxwing calling overhead, but all we could see was a flock of Cedars. Reviewing my photos of this flock, I found at least one of these was indeed a Bohemian. It is possible that this was the same bird that flew over the ball field earlier in the day.
