Observation details
This is in all probabilities the same bird that was found at Geoff Skinner. Key features, dark breast-band, white ring around neck, bright orange legs, palmation's to feet -see images- thus clearly not a Ringed Plover. Finding it on the mudflats on the bay thus confirms that it flies over the mangroves to feed like most of the waders that roost at Skinner. It may also explain why it went missing for a month at Skinner and was difficult to find on some days as it was feeding on the bay and returning to roost. Nice site first.
