BNA: Typical Song is heard ("sweet-sweet-te-te-te--tt-tt-t-t-t"). Chip Calls possibly also heard. CZ 11/05/2004. [This is the typical song of BNA, alternating between "downslurred" trills (0:10, 0:45, 1:08, 2:16 (distant)) and what presumably represents the Arizona variant of the "upward" trill (0:38, 0:57, 1:17, 1:33, 1:52). The chip calls (2:21-2:39) do appear to have been given by this species. Quality changed from 3 to 2-3 (songs), 2 (chips)- CAM - 6 January 2005]. Habitat: Forest, Coniferous Forest, Montane Grassland.
