A male Northern Bobwhite at Blandy Experimental Farm (Clarke County, VA) on 7 November 2016.
Observation details
Best guess at the number of birds in the covey. They were in heavy cover, but they'd occasionally come into view. Saw as many as 4 at a time, but there were always more making noise in the brush. Took a couple of photos.
