Observation details
Black and white goose smaller than Canada goose. Solid black breast, neck and cap. White to cream colored face with distinctive demarcation. Short stubby bill. Flanks whitish with lite gray narrow streaks, back overall darker gray with wide black barring. Sleeping and swimming among Canada geese in main visitor's pool, often alongside a similar sized cackling goose. Fortunate good looks before winds and snow moved in, unobstructed by Canada geese. First reported by Jay mcgowan earlier today. Photos.
