NOTES: (Species Sound: Frequent; Breeding Status: Territorial; Cover Den: med) [This is essentially the song of the species, including both types of Regularly Repeated Vocalizations (RRVs; see Smith, W. J. 1969. Displays of Sayornis phoebe (Aves, Tyrannidae). Behaviour 33:283-322). These 17 vocalizations alternate between RRV1s and RRV2s, beginning and ending with RRV2s, but there are two instances of two RRV2s being given together and one of three of these vocalizations given between RRV1s (0:13-0:23).
