Observation details
Grazed my car as I was driving west on Bay Pkwy from Field 10 to CGS. After it hit my car, it landed in shrubs in median to the left of me, so I pulled over on shoulder to see if was OK (first photo). Then it took off and landed on the grass right in front of my car. I was wondering if it was injured it took off flying just above the pavement then two cars came speeding by and one hit the bird. I drove forward to check it out thinking it was probably dead. It's eyes was partially open and there seemed to be some movement though it could have been just nerves. No bleeding or broken bones were apparent. I picked the bird up and did some energy work on it and put it where the grass meets the shrubs covering it with some grass to keep it warm in case it should revive though I didn't think it would. Made me sad.
