* MEGA for Humboldt County (3rd or 4th record?)I found this bird roosting with it's head tucked in on one of the dolos on the east side at the end of the jetty. At first the birds head was tucked in and all I could see was a brown bird with a bit of white showing on the underparts. Then it lifted it's head up! I think it's an adult female as it has a fully brown head but has a bit of blue in the lores. Many people got to observe it before it supposedly flew off and headed north towards Trinidad. When I first found the bird it had its head tucked in like in this photo and all I could see was this little bit of white below the breast:
