NOTES: BNA: Song 1. "fee-bee"; Song 2. "fee-b-be-bee". mf [This is essentially the song of the species, including both types of Regularly Repeated Vocalizations (RRVs; see Smith, W. J. 1969. Displays of Sayornis phoebe (Aves, Tyrannidae). Behaviour 33:283-322). These 29 vocalizations are dominated by RRV2s, with only seven RRV1s given (0:08, 0:14, 0:23, 0:27, 0:40, 0:47, 1:07). This domination of the song by RRV2 is said to be atypical (fide BNA), but this appears not to be the case based on the available recordings. Quality added (2) - CAM - 14 April 2005]. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Forest, Deciduous Forest, Riparian.
