NOTES: Breeding status: Territorial paired Notes: Diff from previous individual (note written by recordist on data form. mf) HPF@180hz at digitization. mf BNA: Song ("tse-slik") is heard as well as possibly the Alarm note (tsip). CZ 27/05/2004. [One-hundred and twenty-two songs, all similar in type to LNS #87494 and 36956 (recorded in vicinity of Ithaca, New York). I believe the sharp "tsip" calls in the third part of this recording (0:49-1:19) were indeed given by this species, these apparently representing the higher-pitched and more "penetrating" warning calls of BNA. Quality changed from 1;2 to 2, 1-2 - CAM - 15 March 2005]. Response to playback: Approach. Response to playback: Normal song. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Grassland.
