NOTES: NEAR HEADQUARTERS. MOSTLY COURTING BIRDS - TWO BIRDS FACE ONE ANOTHER AND FLUTTER THEIR WINGS CALLING, BUT NOT VERY LOUD. ALSO SOME FIGHTING AND SOME LOUDER CALLS ON THE WING; INCLUDING WING AND FOOT NOISES. Based on the site, these almost certainly represent Trumpeter Swans, at the time recognized by some authors as C. c. buccinator - CAM - 27 October 2004. Other Behaviors: Court, Fight, Perform Visual Display. Habitat: Pond.
