Observation details
Silent empid originally reported as sp., but I have since reviewed photos carefully and am confident of an Acadian ID - also, not unexpected for the date, location, and habitat. The bird is olive overall, limited contrast between dusky throat and face (not Traills) with moderate primary projection and larger bill size (not Least). Perhaps only confused with worn/pale Yellow-belly, but the eye ring is rather whitish, there's a lack of contrast between wings and back, and the bird size was on the larger end as observed in the field. All marks are consistent with Acadian and no other features are particularly suggestive of another empid.
