Observation details
Spotted flying 30 feet high to my right looking all dark and not barrel chested but somewhat sleeker. Approximately the size of a Laughing Gull. Noted bright white edges on four or five outer wing feathers as it cut in front of me and headed north toward golf course. Terns and skimmers were almost all on the ground and not actively feeding. Jaeger was easy, rapid flight. Photos appear poor, but I add them for no more than the suggestion of shape.
