Observation details
Continuing bird found by Tom Wurster. One thing that really set this bird apart from other empids was its behavior. The bird was constantly moving about and didn't really stay in one place very long. Additionally, this bird was flicking its tail and wings incessantly and giving loud repeating "Whit! Whit! Whit!" calls as it did so. Penotypically speaking, this was an overall fairly typical Empidonax fycatcher with a yellowish belly, with fairly bold complete eyering, overall pale olivish coloration, light throat, and short primary projection.
