Observation details
At 10:45 AM, a flock of seven swans landed in the Southwestern Cove. Then a 2nd flock of 25 landed at 10:50 AM! More came sooner after. Three Swans flew low over the lake but did not land. So there were 45 in total. My observations were confirmed with two birders on the opposite side of the lake. What is more, I walked around the lake and got within 100 m of the large flock as they rested on the water. Unfortunately, a dog walker rushed around the lake in the opposite direction and scared all of the swans away.
