Observation details
Flushed twice from the far end of the dune path near the breakwater just before sunrise. Noticeably smaller than sora (intermediate between sora and sparrow size) with unmistakable bright white secondaries. In photos can make out shorter neck, some contrasting yellow streaks on back. On recommendation, kept siting private to protect habitat. Note on id: even without photos, which were a miracle as I just held my camera at my waste and focused by muscle memory, I would have felt confident on this id. Being new to more difficult id’s, this was not one of them.
