Observation details
*Rare. Juvenile with other peeps in cattail lagoon at south end of island. Not seen on main beaches earlier but eventually showed itself in the smaller peep flock emerging from the cattails. Slightly lankier than Semipalmated with noticeably longer, slightly drooped bill and nice red strips on scapulars. Potentially a different bird than the one found by Andy and seen by many yesterday.
