Observation details
First seen roosting and assumed to be an Elegant as bird had head tucked. When it lifted its head LS and EM both immediately saw the black bill and thought maybe it was a gull billed (much more likely). After further inspection we both realized it had a well defined yellow tip and thought this might be a sandwich. After obtaining some quick photos we moved closer and got much more prelonged views. Open to feedback, but don’t see cons for this being a Sandwich Tern. Will add more details later
