Observation details
**WTFlip?!! The bird was seen along the path along the power lines, about 100 yards south of the power station. As I was heading back north toward Bluff St. Ext. I was alerted to a distinct high-pitched chip note that I attributed similar to an Indigo Bunting. I then got bins on a sparrow-like bird on the ground at the edge of the trail, noted a rusty cap, and rather plain bird overall, but a green/yellow wash in the wings. I took 7 quick photos before it moved slightly north into the heavy thickets. I spent another half hour+ looking and was joined by Skip and Dee later in my visit but no other sightings that I know of unfortunately. Directions to Spicket River along Hawkin's Farm (Bluff Street Extension / Town Farm Road). Parking for 2-4 cars max, on Bluff St Ext. at the bridge on the east side of the Spicket River. Walk west over the river and onto Town Farm Rd. Go around/over the guard rail and walk south along the river. This will take you to an overgrown path next to a power station. The bird was seen along the path 100 yards south of the power station.
