Observation details
Continuing golden plover that was first seen a few days ago. Short rear ended look overall with noticeably long legs giving it sort of lanky but blocky bodied feel. Rather blocky head shape, with good sized bill, but not quite as big as they sometimes show. Short and blunt rear ended look probably created most from shorter primary extension past tail, also primaries extending not as far beyond tips of tertials. Different shape of white stripe coming down from face/back of head onto side of neck. Photos
