Observation details
I detected it after I had stopped by its distinctive "Fee-be!" call. I assumed its was a Black Phoebe at first, but after it called a few more times, I realized it was an Eastern Phoebe. Identified by: flycatcher body shape; distinctive call notes; brownish upperparts, wings and tail; dark brown cap contrasting with the white throat; and whitish underparts. It had a relatively dark chest that also contrasted with the throat. It was calling and foraging from both sides of the bridge right next to the road.
