Observation details
Seen and heard singing at 07:13 from 44.651391; -63.454560 (coordinates from Google Maps). The bird was singing consistently while it foraged in the mid-canopy from 6 - 20 m W. of the trail. The habitat was a mature forest with a thick understory. A small (seasonal) creek runs along the trail in this location. It’s probably 60% deciduous trees, dominated by maple, birch, Amelanchier sp., alder, willow, wild raisin, with evergreens being dominated by spruce with a few pines. A recording of the bird singing is attached.
